Pray for those who are laboring in the harvest fields of Nelspruit, that they will clearly see where God is at work and lead out in encouraging others to join Him there.

Mshlozi Baptist Church is in a new and economically-deprived part of Nelspruit. Pray that the members of the church, which is also new, will be shining lights for Christ in the community, showing others how God truly supplies all of their needs according to His glorious riches in Jesus.

In another area of Nelspruit, young people meet weekly learning to “Walk with Jesus.” Pray they will choose to walk with Him at all times and in all situations, so that they will mature into adults who are totally committed to Him.

Pray for missionaries and national believers who take the Gospel message to places where people need to learn about Jesus, people who would not think about attending a church. Pray that they will see godly examples in the lives of the followers of Christ whom they know and that this will stir in them a desire to know Him.

Pray for leaders of Bible studies taking place in Kruger National Park. Ask God to give them opportunities to share His love with park personnel and visitors who are surrounded by His amazing creation.

Pray there will be no violence before, during or after the matches in Nelspruit. Ask God to protect the fans, coaches and athletes from Honduras and Italy who will be at the matches there.

Praise God for Christian families who live in Nelspruit, and pray that marriages will be protected from issues that are leading to an escalating divorce rate around the country.

Pray that missionaries who minister to people living around Nelspruit will have a strong sense of God’s leadership and provision for themselves and all followers of Christ.

Ask God to protect the police officers who will be involved in crowd control during World Cup matches at Mbombela Stadium.

Pray for athletes and fans from Algeria and Paraguay who will be at the matches in Polokwane.

Pray that national pastors in Polokwane will get a vision for reaching out to the many immigrants who live in and around their city and that they will pass along this vision to their church members.

Pray that residents of Polokwane who are putting their trust in false prophets or ancestral spirits will have opportunities to hear the truth that Jesus is the only way to God and that they will come to trust in Him.

Pray for fans and athletes from New Zealand and Australia who will be at the games in Nelspruit.

Pray that people who live in the neighborhoods around Mbombela Stadium will be blessed by the soccer camps and Life Skills classes that will be conducted before, during and after the World Cup.

Pray for physical stamina for the police, medical personnel and other community service providers who will have an extra-heavy workload during the World Cup.

Nelspruit will be home to some of the games in which North Korea will play. Pray that players and fans from North Korea will have numerous opportunities to hear the Gospel while in South Africa.

Pray that visitors who tour the game parks near Nelspruit will encounter the Creator of all things as they experience the wonders of His creation.
